Scarborough Fair: Duet

This old English ballad was popularized during the folk music revival of the 1960s. The duet features subtle yet traditional harmony with spicy non-harmonic tones, which lend a plaintive quality to the arrangement. In addition, a contrapuntal interplay between the two parts provides a rhythmic challenging yet musically satisfying rendition.
