Movin' On

Movin’ On:

A work for free bass with a bluesy style. The repetitive left hand gives a sense of movement to the work. A few blue notes and some syncopated rhythmic interruptions are added to spice up the piece. Movin’ On was composed as a compliment to Lemony Yellow and Encounter. The three works might work well if performed together as a small suite.
