SKU: ATG10049A
Liebesträume Nocturne No. 3, S. 541 is one of Franz Liszt's most famous piano works, composed in 1850. It is part of a set of three nocturnes, each inspired by different forms of love. The third nocturne, subtitled O lieb, so lang du lieben kannst (Love as long as you can), is based on a poem by Ferdinand Freiligrath and expresses deep, unconditional love.
The piece is written in A-flat major and features flowing arpeggios, rich harmonies, and expressive melodies, making it a staple of Romantic piano repertoire. It requires technical dexterity, especially in the fast cadenza passages, and is often performed as a showcase of lyrical and virtuosic playing.
The Anthony Galla-Rini arrangement is for:
accordion 1-5,bass accordion, timpani and percussion
