Galop (Le Bal) from "Jeux d'enfants"
Galop (Le Bal) from "Jeux d'enfants"
SKU: ATG10031A
Galop (Le bal) is the final movement of Georges Bizet's Jeux d'enfants (Children's Games), Op. 22, composed in 1871. This suite consists of 12 miniatures originally written for piano four hands, later orchestrated into a Petite Suite.
The Galop is a lively and energetic dance, capturing the excitement of a children's ball. It features rapid rhythms, bright orchestration, and a sense of playful urgency, making it a delightful conclusion to the suite.
Anthony Galla-Rini has arranged this work for:
accordion 1-5, bass and timpani (which can be optional).
